ABOUT
Come with us as we explore the connections between modern Broadway musicals and William Shakespeare’s Theatre. This intensive gives you the space and training to truly develop your talents as a young artists, featuring songs from Hadestown, Dear Evan Hansen, West Side Story, and more. Every song performed at our showcase will be paired with a Shakespeare monologue or scene, giving you the chance to make the connection between past and present.

FALL AUDITION/Callback WORKSHOP

ABOUT
Come work on your audition songs and callback techniques with Ms. Nancy Casey and Dr. Heather LaForge. Participants get one on one coaching to prepare for any upcoming fall auditions! Learn how to show off your voice and your acting as you work with two of the most seasoned artistic team members in San Diego county. Bring sheet music (if you know what you want to sing), a snack, and water.

MONOLOGUES/SOLILOQUIES

Deepen your skills as an actor and build your toolkit in this monologues/soliloquies class. Over the eight weeks, students will learn the art of selecting and performing monologues that demonstrate the best of their abilities. Students will leave with a classical and contemporary monologue that they can keep in their toolkit for years to come. Taught by Dr. Heather LaForge.
